completing my undergraduate degree a semester early, getting an internship with a Physician Assistant Clinic, saving up money from work to get an apartment and a car, and potentially getting accepted into UT's Physician Assistant Program.
I wanted a big change for myself; I wanted to move away from home as far as possible so that I can learn how to become independent and how I would like to run my life. Coming from Colorado, I wanted to know what it was like to live in a state where there wasn't any snow and Florida was the perfect choice for me. I love how decent size the classes are because it gives me a chance to become close to my professors and it makes it easier and faster to call Tampa 'home'.
the hammocks right beside the Southard Family Building; it's a perfect spot for relaxing, taking a nice nap, working on homework, and hanging out with friends. Right across, the Riverwalk is a great place for taking pictures, exploring what's downtown, and having a nice path to run, walk, or bike. Another place is Armature Works, you can use the Riverwalk to get there and it's just a 15 minute walk from campus! Once you get there, there is such a wide range of variety of food and sceneries; it's always a new experience whenever you go to Armature Works.
My favorite class as of now is Personal and Family Health with Robert McKnabb; he's such an amazing professor and he gets along with each of his students so well. His office is most often always open so students can come in and talk to him about anything and he'll just listen to you and help you. During class, he tries to crack a few jokes here and there to keep us entertained and engaged and he really does make class fun.
