Tour Guide at The University of Tampa
Class of 2019
Hometown: Hatboro, PA
I spend a lot of time on the Riverwalk and on Bayshore Boulevard. Both can take you to the best spots in Tampa, whether its Amalie Arena or all the great local restaurants. There's something really refreshing about living so close to the water, and I've noticed it has helped to get me more involved in the community.
I would like to go to law school and eventually work in sport law. I'm interning with a sport agent right now, and I've enjoyed that side of sport law thus far, but I wouldn't be opposed to working as general counsel for a franchise.
My favorite classes thus far have been a lot of my Sport Management classes. My overall favorite has been my Legal Issues in Sport class that I took with the department chair. It was very interesting for me to be able to combine my passion for sport and law into one class, and to be able to get to know the chair of the department over the course of the semester.
I was originally looking at all big Division I schools, but I came to visit Tampa because I have family in the area and instantly fell in love. During my tour I realized that as a student I thrived off of getting to know my teachers and getting to hear their feedback and going to Tampa would allow me to continue this type of education throughout my college career.
